    Storyline:宋真宗年间，皇妃李珏身怀太子即将分娩。襄阳王定下“狸猫换太子”的毒计，以剥了皮的狸猫将太子盗出。内宫宿卫包铁山率卫士血战夺嫡，背负太子千里驱驰与襄阳王及麾下杀手殊死拼杀，最终以身殉职。三十年后，新皇赵桢登基，刘太后与襄阳王视其为眼中钉定计将之除掉。此时，包铁山之子包拯也已长大成人任定远县令，是一位忠勇耿直、清正廉明的好官。包拯在半路偶遇遭到襄阳王杀手袭击的皇帝，将之救起一路护驾躲避追杀，并利用自己的智慧最终粉碎了刘太后和襄阳王的阴谋。
