    Storyline:隋炀帝无道，北平王罗艺之子罗成为救民女，打死官差被官府通缉。为躲避追捕，罗成躲进了杨林府中，杨之女紫烟与罗感情甚笃，杨林义子伍魁为人阴险，他带人搜查紫烟的闺房以捉拿罗。罗只能再次出逃，途中被山中的俊姑所劫，强与之成亲；不久，罗在征讨窦建德的过程中又得到线娘的青睐。伍魁终于还是发现了罗，紫烟、俊姑和线娘皆因救罗而亡，罗杀向伍，为三个心爱的女子报仇雪恨。
