    Storyline:萧芳芳饰演的向依虹，是位典型一辈子为别人而活的女性。她有个七岁的的女儿湾湾，丈夫过世，和父亲相依为命。无意中，向依虹结识了牧场小开夏临秋，遭临各方的压力。首先是她的古板婆婆要求领回湾湾，而夏家父母也极力反对儿子与这位寡妇交往。　　夏临秋对向依虹展开爱情攻势，两人不顾众人反对而订婚。订婚后，临秋被迫出国，这时依虹发现自己怀有身孕。依虹痴等临秋捎来的音讯，得到的却是他在美移情别恋的消息。　　依虹的上司李维帆暗恋她许久，此时向依虹求婚。依虹被李维帆的真情感动，答应嫁给他。两人婚后幸福美满。　　不料，夏临秋突然回国，而健康状况亮起红灯的李维帆却尽力撮合依虹与临秋复合。甚至为了达到目的，不惜故意苛待依虹，以让她回到临秋身边。最后依虹有感于维帆的真心真意及对临秋的一段情已无法追回，而选择留在维帆身边。　　得奖纪录：民国70年的第16届金钟奖　　本剧荣获最佳导播奖(黄以功)...
