    Storyline:琼瑶《六个梦》系列之一。　　章家有着三个如花似玉的女儿，自小就接受章母严格的清规教育，严禁她们接近男子，宣扬世上所有的男人都是不值得信任的。大女儿章念琦（刘雪华 饰）与杨荫（张佩华 饰）相爱并私奔结婚，然而在母亲的阻挠下，杨荫的父母欺骗念琦杨荫早已结婚，这次只能算是重婚，遭受不住打击的念琦万念俱灰割脉自杀。二女儿念瑜（俞小凡 饰）对老师的崇拜由于母亲公开老师关心念瑜的信件，在学校引起轩然大波，念瑜在双重打击下精神出现问题。由于两个姐姐的悲惨遭遇，让母亲痛定思痛，放手让念琛（金素梅 饰）与恋人徐立群（徐乃麟 饰）远走高飞。　　然而悲剧无法改变。
