    Storyline:1966年8月，一团来自太阳的火球坠落明尼苏达州森林中，引起严重火灾。消防员法伦（Randolph Mantooth 饰）与女友、同事连夜奋战，扑灭大火。这对情侣正待归队之时，诡异火种重燃，其女友被烧伤后双眼喷出火舌，再次引发大火。　　侥幸逃生的法伦痛失女友，同时也对那仿佛具有生命的火焰困惑不解。在接下来的四十多年里，法伦不断追踪这团诡异之火。目睹战友离奇死亡的消防员杰克（Nicholas Brendon 饰）相信了这名前辈的话，与之共同追查。然每每发生火灾法伦必到，他的行为也引起了国土安全局的注意……
