Storyline:故事发生在中世纪的日本，鑢七花（细谷佳正 配音）是一个外表强壮头脑简单的男子，生于武术世家的他背负着传承“虚刀流”的重任。从小到大，鑢七花便被当做一把刀来培养，这种变态的教育方式使得他最终走上了弑亲的悲剧道路。在奇策士咎儿（田村由加利 配音）的鼓动和怂恿下，鑢七花踏上了漫漫的修炼之路，他要找到锻制师四季崎记纪（森功至 配音）所锻造的12把名刀，来增强自己的实力。 一路上，鑢七花遇上了各式各样的敌人，别无选择的他只得一一将他们斩杀。然而，当身边的亲人和朋友接连死去的时候，愚钝的鑢七花开始思考起作为一把刀的价值和意义。
