    Storyline:上世纪40年代，身为黔江报社记者的冉红妹，结识了正直爱国的年轻军官刘孝臣，两人情投意合经过重重险阻终于结合。后来刘孝臣随部队去了台湾，他和冉红妹两人隔水相望。多年后，内地政府帮助冉红妹找到了在台北独居的刘孝臣，并安排两人见面。
