    Storyline:机动新撰组有一个专门逮捕没有得到许可证的妖怪人，以此来捍卫京都的治安的集团在奋斗着...从江户时代到明治，随着新政府的西洋近代化方针的推行，日本发生了翻天覆地的变化。故事的舞台是正在召开［万国大博览会］的明治新京都。街上除了随处可见的披散着头发，梳着明治维新以前的发髻，穿着和服的日本人和穿着洋装的日本人和外国人外，佩戴着［许可证］的妖怪也在四下飞奔着。
