Storyline:在十八世纪的东德，两个码头工人一直梦想着有一天能够出国航海。1984年，在东德城市罗斯托克。康尼与安德里亚斯这两个好兄弟计划着成为东德商船的水手，然后借此机会出海看看。可不幸的是，他们的航海计划很快就泡汤了。几年过去了，两人依旧在陆地上当着码头工人。当他们失望地认为航海之梦只是一个遥不可及的幻想时，事情终于出现了转机。
