Storyline:迎接千禧年的除夕，時任俄羅斯總統葉利欽突然宣佈辭職，普京時代開始。《幸福北韓》（40 屆）導演維德利明斯奇，當時獲邀為準備競逐總統大選的普京拍攝紀錄片，正好見證了政治強人在此關鍵時刻如何鞏固個人權力。當年未曾公開的片段，近距離追蹤即將大權在握的普京，還有戈巴卓夫和葉利欽現身鏡頭前，而當時在普京身邊的同路人，不少後來都成為反對派，箇中其實有跡可尋。獲捷克卡羅維法利電影節最佳紀錄片獎。
