Storyline:About the Movie: Ranked # 25 in our most anticipated Japanese movies of 2013, Bushi no Kondate tells the story of Kengo Kora (Yasunobu) who will one day inherit the fortunes of the Funaki family. His family is well-known and well-respected in the art of cooking. He met Oharu (Aya Ueto) who is a talented cook and with her help, he was able to learn what it takes to prepare delicious and sumptuous food.
About the Poster: Simple yet elegant, with a picture of the lead stars. Just like Japanese food, there is simplicity and order in how they are presented, but the food itself can be quite complicated in its preparation, following tradition and time-tested ingredients. Kengo looks worried, while Aya seems relaxed. It must be the reflection of how they are as cooks!
