Storyline: 家具の修理店を営む椎名秀亮（西島秀俊）は、幼馴染の獣医師藤村美咲（吉瀬美智子）とともに、亡き妻（酒井美紀）が飼っていた猫たちの新しい飼い主を探していた。そこに、祖母が大好きだった猫の身代わりとなる猫を譲って欲しいと、ヒロミ（蓮佛美沙子）が訪ねてくる。秀亮は、ヒロミの家を下見したうえで、毛布と一緒に猫を渡す。猫との再会に喜ぶ祖母に、ほっとするヒロミだったが、今度はヒロミの婚約者に会いたいと言い出して…。
