Storyline:内战时期，许世友奉命率领4万子弟兵固守胶东半岛。一次，国民党夜间偷袭后方医院，当地的百姓秦大娘和女儿腊梅冒着生命危险给许世友送信，不想途中却被国民党军擒获，他们企图利用秦大娘和腊梅逼许世友自投罗网。情急之下，为了不连累部队，秦大娘毅然选择了自尽，被汉奸侮辱了的腊梅侥幸逃脱。
